1. What We Collect

When you purchase a report, we collect:

• Email address — provided through Stripe's checkout flow. Used to deliver your report and to notify you if the relevant state requirements change.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details on our servers.
• Report selection — the state pair and license type you selected. Stored so we can re-deliver your report if needed.
• Stripe session ID — a reference token used to verify your purchase and re-issue your report on request.

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our site — such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, and aggregate usage trends. Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect your IP address and device/browser information for this purpose. This data is processed by Google subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not run advertising pixels and do not use analytics data for marketing. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Report delivery — we email your report download link to the address provided at checkout.
• Rule-change notifications — if we detect that the state board requirements for your purchased pair have changed, we may email you a notice so you can re-verify before submitting your application.
• No marketing — we do not send marketing emails. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit opt-in.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Google LLC — website analytics (Google Analytics). Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not share your data with state licensing boards, contractors associations, or any other third party.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email address and purchase record for up to 2 years from the date of purchase, to allow re-delivery of reports if needed and to send rule-change notifications during that period. After 2 years, personal data is deleted from our systems.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@contractorreciprocity.com. We will delete your record within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers. We store your data on Render's infrastructure with encrypted disk storage. No system is perfectly secure; if you have concerns, contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to affected users where feasible.
